Research:-
Sia Kate Isobelle Furler, Born 18th December 1975 (aged 41), in Adelaide, Australia.
Singer-Songwriter & Music Video Director
A part of many bands before going solo such as Crisp (local australian band), Jamiroquai and Zero 7.
received rewards such as the ARIA awards, MTV Video Music Award and 8 Grammy nominations.

Emeli Sande:
- Born 10th March 1987 (aged 30) in Sunderland, Tyne & Wear, England.
- Wrote her first song at 11 years old
- Went to University of Glasgow for a degree in Medicine, though she left with a gained degree in Neuroscience (she stated it would be useful to gain an education just in case her music career failed)
- Her first album 'Our version of events' reached number 1 on the charts in 2011 as well as 'Heaven' garnering positive reviews from critics.
- 'Heaven' as well as many of her songs were used during the London 2012 Summer Olympics accompanying people such as Tim Berners-Lee
- On 15th September 2012 it was revealed that she had been married to long time partner ------------- however a year later it was further revealed that they recently divorced.
2011:
- The 2011 English riots were topical at the time - 2011 in general had a lot of riots and protests in general worldwide, such as in Egypt.
- The Royal Wedding was also a big event in 2011.
- 9.0 magnitude earthquake and further tsunami hit Japan killing 15,840.
- Osama Bin Laden, leader of Al-Qaeda was killed.
